Jeramey decided that he wanted to try racing 4 wheelers which he has never done before , I have to admit I was a little nervous. He raced for 50 minutes part on a arena cross, and part in the desert and he took 3rd place!! We stayed in the La Quinta in St.George and it was very nice. The weather was nice and sunny on Saturday and I SO needed the sun . The track was very muddy so I went and got mud boots for me and KyLee . She was so happy that I was letting her play in the mud, infact we went on a lot of walks looking for mud puddles to splash in ! the really funny thing is that I usually FREAK OUT with mud and messes and thinking about how am I going to clean that up, or I am sure that won't come out of her white shirt- at first she looked at me like "you are seriously letting me get dirty?" I know that I need to chill and just let her be a kid.... and she had such a blast!

so i had a shoe party on saturday! it was a blast! and I LOVE shoes, i just happened to come across the 4theloveofshoes.com website one day when I was looking up recepies on Good things Utah- and I love shoes, so with a little persuasion from my co-workers i booked a party!! who doesn't love shoes? Sam who is the owner of the company comes and sets up a display and then you tell her what shoes you like and she gets your size- the best thing about it is that the shoes are $20- or under-and you get to take them home that night! KyLee loves shoes too so she was in heaven ( they do have children's and men's shoes too) but I was selfish and only got some for me-


On monday President's Day I didn't have work , but KyLee had school so on my way home from picking her up I hit a pothole, bent the rim of my tire and ruined the tire, so luckily I wasn't far from home when I discovered it so I made it home, proceeded to put air in my tire( hoping that it was just a flat) no sooner had I filled it up I heard the air coming out DANG IT!!! now I had to change the freakin tire- i open the trunk, pulled out the spare, the jack and the wrench thing. okay time to loosen bolts before I jack the car up - I tried and tried to get them loose but with the wrench I didn't have much leverage, so I called my brother Adam and he loosened them for me - I told him that I could handle it from here and sorry to interuppt his day- I got the tire off , put the spare on and the spare was FLAT!!! at this point I was DONE - meanwhile KyLee thank goodness was entertaining herself and being my little angel as not to add to my frustration- my mom just happened to stop by so I threw that stupid tire in the back of her car and headed to les schwab to have it fixed - and to make a very long story short- they wouldn't fix it because of the bent rim so I AM DONE and driving the truck today , I informed Jeramey that he was taking care of the stupid tire now... ( HE HE HE !!)

Happy Valentines Day!!

I am actually not a huge fan of this holiday- but it does give me an excuse to buy something for KyLee and to tell her how much I love her- not that I don't tell her all of the time anyway. yesterday she got to make sugar cookies with Grandma Blackburn and she loved it!! I rememeber doing that with my mom when I was little- and I LOVE sugar cookies!! We also made valentines to give to her friends in dance and at school and can't wait to go to the valentine party at school today- it was funny last night KyLee asked who was going to be her mommy if i die- i have no idea where she even came up with that, but after telling her that I was going to be around for a long time and even if something did happen she still has a daddy- she said but daddy's can't take care of kids like mommies do- no wonder why i love being a mom !! happy valentines day everyone!!!We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love. ~Author Unknown
