My baby is 4!!!!

This is Ky and our other Birthday girl Ali who is now 1 !!


I can't believe it! time has gone by so fast!! It seemed like it took forever for me to have the opportunity of being a Mom , and now I can't imagine our lives without our sweet KyLee O!! It is amazing the joys children bring into our lives-for those of you who don't know "our story" I will tell it as quickly as I can ( for those of you who know my story telling... I usually go in to great detail about every little thing- my brother in law Doug laughs at me every time !!)
After numerous fertility treatments and we were still not pregnant our last option was to do invitro - fertilization.. not a fun process, but we were blessed and it worked the first time ! Our due date was Septemeber 4 2004- ( also my birthday ) Jeramey had decided that he wanted to go and work with his cousin in Arizona so that he could give me the opportunity of being a stay at home Mom- My water broke at 4:20 on the morning of August 10th, I was living at my Dad and Mom's house so I wasn't by myself. I called my mom from my cell phone- ( she was 2 floors up and there was no way I was walking at that point) then I called Jeramey and woke him up it was 3:20 am in Arizona- and told him to get the first flight here. Me, my Mom my Dad and my brother Adam headed to the hospital- I ended up having to have a C- section because KyLee was a double footling breach - and her foot was already sticking out.... Jeramey missed it, but was the first to hold our blonde hair, blue-eyed girl she was born at 5:50am and was 6.06 lbs and 18 inches long. Our lives have never been the same since !
So now she is still blonde and has blue eyes, and acts a lot like me( haven't figured out if that is bad or good yet) she has been very articulate since she was 1 year old- loves dirtbikes, princesses and Disneyland- she is very clever and is the light of our lives!

just a side note- she did get a real dirtbike for her birthday a yamaha ttr50 with pink graphics and her name on it - she was SO EXCITED!!! and she was so SPOILED by all of our friends and family that love her !! thanks everyone!

Deseret News 10k

so this is a totally funny picture - so of course I had to post it - this was then END of the 10k- you would think that since I have been training for months now that 6miles would be nothing- but by the end of it I was SO ready to be done- my time was 1 hour and 4 mins- not very fast but I did keep a steady pace the whole race.... My dad came in right behind me and my brother in law Doug was speedy and finished at 56 minutes... so as far as my next race- I have a half marathon on Saturday August 9th in Provo and the Top of Utah marathon ( 26.2 miles) is on September 20th - hopefully I don't die!! I haven't trained at all this week, I haven't felt that great- touch of a stomach bug and a mirgraine to boot! better luck next week!!

20 year tag

20 years ago....( just the fact that I was alive 20 years ago and I can look back on it and remember it is CRAZY!!!)
1- I was 8
2- my mom still made me go to bed at 8pm even in the summer
3- I always had a perm because I hated my mom doing my hair
4-I had a really bad temper ....

10 years ago.....
1- I was 18
2- went to Florida to learn how to do Body Wraps( guaranteed to lose 6 inches on your first wrap!)
3- about to start school at slcc
4-hung out with my best friends Rach Launi and Ali ALL OF THE TIME!!

5 years ago....
1- going thru A LOT of fertility crap....
2- lived in a cute 100 year old house
3- lead and taught music in primary
4- had a annual pass to disneyland

3 years ago......
1- my baby was almost 1 and she was and still is my joy in life !
2- lived at my mom's
3- moved from Arizona ( again)
4- had to go back to work

1 year ago....
1- getting ready to go to Hawaii
2- just moved into our house
3- Ky was in swimming lessons
4- going to races every weekend

So far this year I have...
1- gone on a girls trip to St. George
2- got a new car
3- gone actual camping not just to races
4- watched my baby turn into a little girl

Yesterday I ....
1- ran 6.8 miles
2- took a 2 hour nap
3- actually made dinner
4- watched movies

Today I ...
1- took Ky to Misty's
2- am working
3- have a relief society meeting
4- get to read ky a bedtime story

Tomorrow I will...
1- work
2- make cookies ( I promised sometime this week)
3- play with Ky
4- watch a movie

In the next year I will....
1- go to school
2- run a marathon
3- go on a disney cruise
4- watch my little girl keep on growing!!!

I know 2 posts in one week - So Jeramey is the oldest of 5 he has a brother that is just younger than him and then 3 sisters- I was just thinking about how grateful I am to have the in laws that I do- they treat me just like a daughter and a sister- and of course all of the wonderful sister in laws that my 3 brothers married-and my sisters husband as well- anyway all I have to say is that there are not many people that can say they love their in-laws - and I do , completely! Sorry I don't have any pics of my family down loaded yet...... but don't you worry I will post them too!!

Yes we are still ALIVE

hmmmm so what has happened since the middle of June??? My cousin got married in Idaho and KyLee was a flower girl- along with Ana and Ethan was the ring bear( as KyLee says) - it was at a beautiful old church and it was such a pretty day- Nikkole made a beautiful bride.

we stayed at my uncle Mark and Aunt Janeen's house! we had so much fun , KyLee Loves horses so she got to ride and play with them and she LOVES my cousins Cassie and Jessie - we had such a fun time just hanging out with them- it was fun for them to get to know Jer better. I really appreciate their generosity and hospitality!

Then next weekend Jeramey went to Colorado for a National Race - one of his clients Jeremy O' Driscoll was qualifying for the main event. KyLee and I had a great girls weekend- Friday I took Ana and KyLee to build a bear, then we met Ethan at the park and had lunch and feed the geese and duckies the kids had so much fun!! of course I always love being with my mom and sis too- we had two wedding receptions to go to that night and then we slept over at Grandma B's ( I had an early run the next day and I didn't want to worry about what to do with Ky) then Saturday we went and played with Grandma Finch- we got pedicures and had lunch at Cheesecake factory yummy! then met Aunt Jennie, Chase and Coleson at southtowne mall- thanks so much to the Grandmas for such a great time!!

-here are a few new Ky things- we were reading a book the other night and she actually read about 3 sentences, she didn't even skip a beat ( yes i think my Ky is brilliant) !

-Fairy Godmother did visit our house and sprinkle magic dust on her pillow so she will have sweet dreams, oh and she lives on the star next to the moon ( thanks Mom) I am not sure how she got the whole faiy godmother idea- but luckily I had some extra glitter hidden away...

- She loves to take little rides on the skooter with her Daddy and now wants a street helmet and street gear... I don't think so!!!!

- She gave her first talk in primary yesterday and I hear she did a great job- and wasn't shy at all.... great I really do have the makings of a drama queen

- she wants not only a dirtbike for her birthday - she wants a quad as well.....

I will give you the 4th of July update as soon as I can!!!!

Belated Father's Day

I know, it was yesterday but I still felt like I needed to express my gratitude for the Father's in my life- first my own, I have always been such a Daddy's girl- I am so grateful to him- thank you for always making it possible for Mom to stay at home with us, and for sending her flowers just so that we knew how much you love her. Thank you for always striving for perfection and for helping us also strive for it. Thank you for always supporting us, even if you didn't agree with our decisions. Thank you for crying during movies so that I could see the softer side of you. Thanks for being such a great Grandpa- and spending time playing with KyLee- and for taking me to the hospital when Jeramey was in Arizona and for holding Ky just because it brings you joy!

Dad Finch - thanks for always being there to help us, thanks for taking us to Disneyland just because you like to spend time with us. Thanks for teaching your son the value of hard work and the importance of spending quality time with your family. Thank you for being such a great Grandpa who loves all of his grandchildren, and plays with them - comforts them when they are upset and of course spoils them !! Thanks for giving us the opportunity to be home owners and for letting me pick the carpet, paint and tile just because you wanted me to be happy. I am truely blessed to have you in our lives !

Last but not least Jeramey ( not that he will EVER read this ) I just wanted to say how blessed I am to have a husband that loves being a Daddy- and his little princess loves working in the garage with him, and riding dirtbikes with him- Thank you for working so hard to support us- and for playing so hard to show us how important it is to take the time to play- thank you for always laughing at me when I get mad ( even though at the time it makes me even more mad) and for understanding me when I don't think that I am making any sense - thanks for playing with KyLee at the park, not just watching while she plays. Thanks for smiling and getting excited to see us everytime you come home from work!
Of course I am also so grateful for my Grandpa's and Jeramey's Grandpa's - they made us who we are !!
